Welcome to BeCycle. By booking a tour or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Company Information

2. Bookings
Bookings can be made through our website or by direct contact via email.
A booking is only confirmed once:
- Payment has been received, and
- You receive a confirmation email from BeCycle.
We reserve the right to decline a booking if availability is not confirmed.
3. Prices & Payments
All prices are displayed in Euros (€).
Payment methods available:
- Bank Transfer
- PayPal
For bank transfers, your booking will only be confirmed after the payment has been received in our account.
Any transfer fees or PayPal fees are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to cancel your booking:
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the tour date → Full refund.
- Cancellations made 3–7 days before the tour → 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the tour → No refund.
If BeCycle cancels a tour due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, customers will receive:
- A full refund, or
- The option to reschedule.
5. Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for:
- Ensuring they are physically fit to participate.
- Following safety instructions provided by guides.
- Wearing appropriate clothing and equipment.
BeCycle reserves the right to refuse participation if a participant behaves in a way that may compromise safety.
6. Insurance & Liability
BeCycle operates in accordance with Portuguese law.
While we take all necessary safety precautions, cycling involves inherent risks. By participating in our tours, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
BeCycle is not responsible for:
- Personal belongings lost or damaged during tours.
- Accidents caused by participant negligence.
Where required, appropriate insurance coverage is provided in accordance with Portuguese regulations.
7. Force Majeure
BeCycle is not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our control, including:
- Extreme weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Strikes or transportation disruptions
8. Privacy & Data Protection
We respect your privacy.
We collect personal data only for the purpose of:
- Managing bookings
- Communicating with customers
- Legal and accounting requirements
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except when required for payment processing or by law.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction
- Request deletion
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications
