A breathtaking landscape.
A bike ride from Porto to Ovar is an incredible experience that combines natural beauty with local culture. The distance between the two cities is approximately 50 km, and the journey can be done in about 4 hours, depending on your pace.
The route follows the coast, offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, a unique experience that combines city, beaches, rivers and forests. Along the way, there are several points of interest: the mouth of the Douro River in Afurada; the Church of Senhor da Pedra in Miramar; the magnificent Espinho Beach; the walkways of Barrinha de Esmoriz; and the Maceda forest road, which offers an immersive 10 km journey where only the sounds of nature are heard. The ride ends in the city of Ovar, known for its famous tiles and its conventual sweet, the sponge cake.
